Slytherin
Slytherins tend to be ambitious, shrewd, cunning, strong leaders, and achievement-oriented. They also have highly developed senses of self- preservation. This means that Slytherins tend to hesitate before acting, so as to weigh all possible outcomes before deciding exactly what should be done.

Hufflepuff
Students belonging to this house are known to be hard-working, friendly, loyal, honest and rather impartial. It may be that due to their values, Hufflepuffs are not as competitive as the other houses, and are more modest about their accomplishments. Hufflepuff is the most inclusive among the four houses; valuing hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its students.

Each house will also have a points system. There is House Points and Individual Points. While inside Hogwarts you may use your House Points to purchase items for your House. Individual Points can be used to purchase items specificly for yourself. These items can be anything from fruniture, clothes, books to even potions.
You can get House Points for completing quests with other members of your house or with others from different houses. For each person of the same house the House Points awarded will be multiplied by the number of house mates.
You can get Individual Points for comleting side quests and class assignments.
Now for placement into a house the sorting hat will be placed on your head to determine the best fit for you. The hat will roll a d4 for the first decision on placement. If the witch or wizard does not like the first placement they may roll a d10 and d100 dice together. If the witch or wizard rolls a 50 percent or higher on the dice the hat will roll his d4 again to give a second option of placement. The witch or wizard must then make a decision between the two placement choices to determine of which house they will reside with.
In the case the hat rolls the same placement as the first placement the witch or wizard may decided if they will stick with the placement or want the hat to roll until another placement appears.
